세종특별자치시 시민헌장

대한민국 중심에 우뚝 선 우리 세종특별자치시는 산수가 수려한 천혜의 고장이며, 새천년을 이끄는 행정과 문화의 중심도시로 눈부시게 발전하고 있다. 우리는 특별자치시민으로서 무한한 자긍심을 지니며 누구나 살고 싶어 하는 행복하고 아름다운 도시를 건설하고자 다음과 같이 실천목표를 밝힌다.

1우리는 상호 존중의 자세로 소통과 참여를 통해 언제나 함께하는 창조적인 미래도시를 만든다.
2우리는 진취적인 자세로 국가 균형발전의 모범이 되는 세계적인 행정도시를 건설한다.
3우리는 따뜻한 인정과 상부상조의 정신으로 이웃과 더불어 살아가는 행복한 복지도시를 이룬다.
4우리는 전통문화의 바탕 위에서 학문과 예술과 교육이 융성한 창의적인 문화도시를 이룩한다.
5우리는 생태환경을 보존하여 자손만대 자연과 조화를 이루며 사는 녹색 환경도시를 가꾼다.

of Sejong City Citizens’ Charter

Sejong City, which stands at the center of the Republic of Korea, has been blessed with wonderful natural environment and remarkably developed into the central city of administration and culture leading the new millennium. Highly proud of being the citizens of Sejong City, we hereby announce our practical goals as follows in order to create a happy and beautiful city where everyone wants to live.

1We will build a creative future city where everyone goes together through communication and participation based on the attitude of mutual respect.
2In the enterprising attitude, we will construct a world-class administrative city which will act as a model city national balanced development for other nations.
3With warm heart and in the spirit of mutual help, we will create a happy welfare city where everyone can live together with the neighbors.
4We will realize a creative city of culture where scholarship, arts and education are in full flourish based on the foundation of our traditional culture.
5We will create a green environmental city where people can live in harmony with nature and consequently pass the well-preserved ecological environments on to future generations
