As a theme river park in the city, Bangchukcheon Riverside Park is composed of five themes between 10-16 bridges around the riverside: Waterside Theme Park, Sejong Plaza, Natural Ecological Learning Sector, Water-friendly Culture Sector, and Water-friendly Activity Sector. As a rest area for Sejong citizens, this park has become a new attraction in Sejong City.

Located at the Water-friendly Culture Sector, the last of Bangchukcheon’s specialized sectors, the Music Foundation provides local residents with interesting views to enjoy with various effects and lightings, such as the Gosa Fountain - the tallest at a height of 40m, Swing Fountain, Garibi Fountain and Heart Fountain. Here is Sejong City’s representative attraction, which has been recreated as a place of youth and culture.
A bas-relief mural depicting the history and culture relating to the achievements by King Sejong the Great has been introduced, and images of Sejong City in the section of Sejong Plaza, including creation of Hangeul, promotion of science and organization of music (a total of eight spots, a total extension of 232m and average height of 3m) provide visitors with sights to watch and a rest area.
With clean water purified through filtering devices and soaring to a maximum of 20m, the Gosa Foundation looks magnificent with the effects of LED lights of seven different colors.
King Willow is a broad-leaved tree that grows in the wetlands or streams of the southern part of Gyeonggi-do. It was named so because it is the tallest of the willow trees and has bigger leaves when compared to the other willow trees. It can be easily identified as it turns red when new leaves grow out. As the King Willow has a gentle shape with beautiful buds in bold pink, it looks like a candle, and is a preferred tree in the parks in the city.
Hydrangea Garden offers a unique atmosphere with a garden consisting of 4,700 hydrangea paniculatas which blossoms in late autumn (September to November). The Rock Garden is formed to display the beauty of natural rocks surrounded by a variety of plants (900 plants including the Oriental arbor vitae) all around.
Media Waterfall is an eco-friendly sculpture, which uses cutting-edge digital technology to showcase the waterfall and the undersea world and depict art works of various media and information. It describes the Hangeul Matrix, which expresses Hunminjeongeum, one of the greatest achievements of King Sejong the Great, through digital graphics and redesigns bas-relief mural at Bangchukcheon in the digital form. Especially, as most expressive images are designed for mutual communication with users, it provides users with educational entertainment.
The Living Rock Waterfall uses clean water filtered through a sand basin and has LED lightings of seven different colors used in artificial waterfalls and fog fountain, pouring about 11 tons of water a minute from the height of 6m.
