Over the past hundreds of years, numerous countries have built new federal administrative cities, for diverse political, economic, cultural and strategic reasons.
However, there is yet to be formed an international network or alliance between all of these administrative cities---a place where those that have already built or are considering building administrative cities can get together and share know-hows and information on the planning, construction, expansion, and maintenance of administrative cities.
This is why Sejong city decided to pursue the World Administrative Cities Association.
We are all in different stages of the process.
Some administrative cities are older than 100 years, while others like Sejong city are only 5 years old.
By getting together, we can all share our unique experiences and help each other to create better, people-friendly administrative cities.
